General terms and conditions of the warranty:

1. The purchase of AK/Apple ply products must be registered with the company within one month from the date of purchase in our website www.appleplywoods.com.
2. AK/Apple ply products are 100% chemically treated, completely protected against borer and the warranty would be against any attack from borer.
3. Customer has to lodge his complaint for defects/ damages of the product on the AK/Apple Plywoods website (www.appleplywoods.com) or as informed, after having entered all purchase details of the product and also has to produce original invoice.
4. Upon receipt of complaint our authorised representative will be deputed for physical inspection of allegedly damaged portion of the product at the place where it has been utilised.
5. Sample will be drawn and it will be send either to our laboratory or any other reputed laboratory for testing.
6. Warranty is not applicable in case of keeping plywood or furniture on ‘kucha flooring’, keeping close proximity to water or moisturised conditions or any other similar contingencies & severely pest infected environment. Bad workmanship, inappropriate use of cutting and finishing tools also makes warranty void.
   We will check the moisture content of the wall with a moisture meter (Asian paints TruCareProtimeter Mini C or its higher model) and the warranty is not applicable if the moisture content of the wall is higher than 8% onthe area inspected.
7. Warranty is not applicable if AK/Apple ply products are used with any other brand of Plywood/Panels products or untreated timber for furnishing, construction or fabrications.
8. This warranty doesn’t cover against termites until the certificate is produced by approved agent who has done the Pest Control treatment of the building before the purchase of the AK/Apple ply products. (Warranty against termite is applicable to Platinum Plus+ and Platinum grades only)¬
9. Warranty does not extend to damages from causes such as floods, earthquakes, fire or force majeure.
10. This warranty automatically terminates on the expiry of the warranty period of specified product, even in case the plywood or other wood panels are not being used in the specified period.
11. Claims if any, to this warranty shall be made before courts having jurisdiction in Mangaluru only,
12. On satisfactory proof of the alleged product being affected AK/Apple Ply shall replace with labour cost or repair the same, as per the condition mentioned above for various product range.
